im conflicted about uploading this project to github, it took a couple hours of tinkering and active input from me, but ultimately chatgpt wrote all the codeits an opencv, borderless window, camera app, works as a streaming cam, takes photos, videos with sound, uses hotkeys to resize the window proportionally, save directories and hotkeys are configurable via config file, has little red and green dots for recording/mic indicators loli needed a borderless camera program to use with my tiling wm, ive been using borderless-camera but that doesnt take photos and sometimes text or symbols would pop up in the window, and cheese SUCKS and is ugly and wont let me change my save location, so i just decided to try to "make" my own combined feature app with chatgpt and it turned out great, so maybe somebody else with will be looking for the same thing and come across it? but id feel like openAI vibecattle putting ai code on my github.useful to anyone else or AI slop?
no point in sharing pyjeet code when mpv can do all of this
somebody else ~~with~~ will be looking for the same thing*
>>107261970AI slop my ass. I stitched that thing together harder than half the “handcrafted” dotfiles that get posted here. If someone wants to call it prompt-puke, they can go back to cargo-culting ten-year-old Stack Overflow answers and pretending that’s real engineering. If it helps even one other i3/sway goblin who’s sick of cheese acting like window borders are a federal crime, then whatever, I’ll toss it on GitHub. They can cope with the fact that a model did half the boilerplate while I did the part that actually makes it usable. If the forks descend into cat-ear toggle hell, so be it. At least I won’t be the clown recompiling guvcview for the eighteenth time because V4L decided to have opinions again.
>>107262017oops responded to the wrong thing lolhow can you do this with mpv
