Windows 10 IoT LTSC users are the trannies of the Windows space, going through so many hoops to use a dogshit OS instead of just switching to Linux, these niggers literally do all of this just to browse the internet, these niggers force themselves to this thinking they're cool while not even using any software that requires them to be on Windows.
Just slit your fucking throats irl, make the world a better place.

Enterprise is worse than Education due to all the installer limitations. Companies will detect which version you're running and say to contact them for enterprise licensing. Education has all enterprise features anyway.

Linux is not viable for real world use where things need to work with one click, on the first try, with zero technical knowledge or effort or learning or typing anything on a fucking command prompt (operating systems shouldn't even HAVE command prompts anymore, those were deprecated 40 years ago).

No, its up to the software dev. You don't have to worry about it for most software but once in a while some obscure shit might be anal about it.

You realize Windows also has a command prompt, right? Christ you wintards are dumb.
>>

okay bait 6/10 you got some replies
>>
>>107265226
In the real world, there are engineers like me who need to use massively complicated engineering software suites that only run in windows, and are designed and supported only on windows.

we're holding out on win10 for as long as we can. old pieces of software still run on winxp for some industrial systems, even. I saw a winnt 3.0 system running a YMS interfacing unit not more than 3 years ago.

anyway, because you've evidently never worked in the real world, you should just shut the fuck up.
>>
>>107265226
not to mention that 10 iot ltsc has terrible driver support if you have a pc newer than 2010. it's basically worse than linux at hw support
>>
>>107265226
Linux is unusable. Adults with lives and jobs outside of the IT sector don't use it.
>>
>>107264607
All of this when you could just switch to mint and be done with it

Never experienced one single bug in over 25 years of using Windows. You're the retard here. Keep coping.

feels good man

can confirm, education has none of the enterprise weird limitations where programs would tell you to buy their pro only license so you have to pay 10 times the price since you're an enterprise user

>>107266286
no list but last I had a problem with was teamviewer
>>
Any way to make applications reopen all previously open files once I reboot on windows?
In particular irfanview.

IoT LTSC is dogshit. But that doesn't mean it's worse than Linux.

Interoperability, Office stuff (Excel is lightyears ahead of FOSS alternatives), PDF editing, Multi Core performance etc. I use it because Google Drive for Windows makes it really easy to make and update spreadsheets from my desktop. A far better experience than Linux (at least for me). I don't game much, so I won't talk about it.
>>
>>107265226
Then tell me the alternative to Afterburner + RTSS, features I use daily are:
voltage/frequency curve
fan curve
frameratecapping at a driver level
>>
>>107270639
It's literally no different than Win 10. Minus the bloat. Anyone telling you otherwise is a retard. Win 10 IoT LTSC is the best fully supported OS you can currently use.
>>
>>107270665
mangohud
corectrl (amd only. get fucked otherwise)
coolercontrol
mangohud (again)
but just that you use afterburner in current year tells me youre a stuck in your ways kind of guy that wouldnt be satisfied unless it was literally 1 to 1 in every way so dont bother lol.

where do you people actually live? come back to me when you actually use Windows for something other than running some shitty nonfree GUI thinclient shitware.
>>
Haven't received any updates yet, not sure if MS pushed any though.
>>
>>107269713
He's not exactly wrong though. Linuxfolx make the assumption that everyone can afford to spend the entirety of their free time to set up and maintain their system.
Plenty of people in the world have virtually no free time and if they have any they might choose to spend it in a way that is enjoyable. Linux probably just isn't going to get to the point where it's a realistic alternative to Windows and Mac.
It would require people who know nothing about computers tardwrangling sperged out developers. It doesn't happen in FOSS.

That's total bs. All my hardware has up to date drivers. Once you've disabled telemetry, it's great. No Windows 11 ads and TPM up my ass like so many others out there.

11 is a giant Jew dick in your ass, inserted by pajeet's filthy shit covered hands.
>>
>>107272037
yea but the core scheduler and full directstorage gpu decompression for starters arent backported to win10s kernel stack. I fucking hate win11 but if you have modern hardware (and not using GNU/Linux), then you're gimping yourself by not using win11.

This. Once Win 10 IoT LTSC's support ends in 7 years, I'm switching to Loonix. Thankfully, based boys like Gaben are now going all in on Loonix and by the time Win 10 IoT LTSC expires, Loonix will be fleshed out just enough to be the perfect gaming OS, and not just a half-baked, anti-user demo it's been for decades.
>>
>>107264607
Same but replace the 10 with 11
