Valves are technology.
Which valve would you use for your main water line?

Ball valve all the way.
Fyck spigot types

Definitely top one, it's best for switching on/off.
Bottom is better when you need fine control over the flow rate but is harder to fully close and fully open.

Who doesn't enjoy a good steam machine?

>screw valve
For fine adjustment
>lever valve
For coarse adjustment
>butterfly valve
For binary adjustment (open/close)

For main water as the first valve in the house I'd use the lever valve, for further control down the line in different rooms I'd use the screw valve. In Germany it's screw valves everywhere.

Use case for controlling fluids?

k... So them specify the Esp32, but I'm to understand it impacts other products...

those commands are all from the bluetooth stack and the ESP8266 doesn't even have bluetooth
>>
>>107269605
I was under the mistaken impression it did for some reason. My bad.

seems like this only affects devices that are being used as a dumb bluetooth modem, with an HCI UART interface. can't be triggered over the air. HCI packet = packet from the host controller to the ESP over serial. tarlogic is misconstruing all sorts of shit in their article to drum up publicity.

tarlogic seems to be one of those clickbaity fag "security research" orgs that make money from ad revenue on press releases and nothing else.

Strictly speaking none of them are designed for partial open by default, only control/regulating valves.

Ball valves can do everything in a pinch.
>>
>>107268323
somebody gave new, well working valve to me
>>
>>107269700
But how did it perform when you took it out of the well?
>>
>>107268323
it's technically illegal to use anything but a gate valve for your main line in my city.

Spigot is easily repairable.
