What’s the deal with RisuAI? On mobile when I try to import a character the button does nothing 99% of the time. I managed to import one by blindly trying it over and over. Everything else works flawlessly.

I also tried going to the character tab and uploading a card from my photo gallery but that doesn’t work either. Nothing happens except the icon turns green.

I tried two different browsers…

And are there any recommended settings or presets for it, for use with openrouter?

Also what’s the deal with the accounts and files backup? Is it just for data hoarders or is there a reason I should bother with it, like the site works differently from other similar sites?

Fair take. I've always noticed about claude since sonnet 3.5 that it spends most of its time trying to give out who Human is based on defs and instructions. It will occasionally throw out bait (creativity) to see if it's profiled you correctly but will eventually mold itself to suit you, unless the character is evil or backstabbing or something (positivity bias). It cares about (You) not your defs and so it will readily skip over things it finds contradicting to what it believes you want (bad at following defs). This difference is why I disagree about gemini. I actually think it's much better at following defs. Gemini 3 is better at following defs than 2.5 but still falls into that "compilers" issue, as in, it has specific things it just refuses to do for some unknown reason and cannot be prompted away, even though the kuudere problem has been completely solved finally. First model to do that btw. But yeah I do get the "regurgitation of defs thing" especially when it comes to descriptions of char's body so I've been avoiding "C-cup breasts" but can't figure out a nice way to describe them.

Okay I'm honestly not really involved with these threads, but why are people now really trying to act different now, claiming opus and sonnet are bad? Literally tell me what other model comes close? Right now I use Gemini 3 and sonnet 4.5 and EVERY other model is dogshit. Like you might be able to write some sex scene, but the second you want to have any coherent story, it's game over. 1. No context, the majority of models just go to 128k. And even that is useless because often 20k they go full retard. 2. Complete lack of scene understanding and taking everything into context. Personalities are not maintained, if you do not mention it in the prompt it will literally ignore characters or things that have happened 2 seconds ago. 5 people can sit at a table, only 3 at most (if at all) will talk and the other 2 are ignored. The reason why I like ai creative story writing at all was because of opus 3. That was the first model to actually output good shit. I have not found another model that is actually as good as Claude models.
