Im just scrolling trying to find a ram. Trying to find a fucking ram. Im just scrolling. Looking at fucking every european amazon store compared to eachother. I just cant cope anymore. The cheapest fucking thing was 200 euro for cl30 6000mhz 2x16gb ram. Im just not going to fucking pay that. God. All i need is a ram. I just want to finish my pc build. Why is it that the only thing i didnt buy was ram and now that i was going to buy it months later i find out that the price fucking skyrocketed?

Is there much reason to go for a 3 fan model for the 5060ti? I'll most probably be undervolting it a bit, since I've read in these threads that that's a good idea for the blackwell gpu's. So I'm assuming with its tdp that it shouldn't get that hot in the first place?
And also just in general, what should I be looking for when comparing the different models/manufacturers, to get something that's solid?

It will be super hot, consume more power than your GPU and only barely match AMD in gaming, but it will retain a very large advantage in productivity. It will become a no brainer for content producers and so by winning over those people they will claw back usage with the average consumer even if the latter will not make full use of it. Good way to push total AIO domination though. If AMD Unboxed are not too biased and remain consistent with their "platform upgradability" requirement then Intel has the potential to turn this into an advantage since their release timing will be favorable vs AM5.

Or DRAM problems obliterate any chances of the common consumer upgrading during its release window and it falls flat on its face through no fault of its own.

>>
>>107370840
Literally absolutely nothing. They make horridly expensive fans that have precision engineered blades to give you -1dB in exchange for +100 USD, also giant blocks of aluminum for passive cooling. That's it. They are still trying to get into AIOs but want to be special snowflakes by making a pumpless design despite the fact that there exists many pumps today which are practically inaudible. Again, -1dB for +however many dollarydoos, that is their company's reason for existing.
>>
>>107370874
it could also be the emulator, lots of artifacting on initial cutscenes but it's fine now after the tutorials
>>
>>107370840
They make objectively the best air cooler and the best fans and the quietest fans, all testing proves this and anyone that says otherwise can only complain about the price.

>>
>>107370917
They have to spin at 2x the speed and sound awful, but they cost 1/3 the price so that's much much better and don't worry a new cooler will come out every 6 years

>>107370931
Steve? He literally just said the Noctua is the best Air Cooler yesterday I guess his shill check cleared too right?
>Best Noise-Normalized Thermals: Air - Noctua NH-D15 G2

But if you cannot afford one Thermalright is always there with 35 coolers to choose from, and don't worry another cooler will be out next year from them too.
>>
>>107370840
Everything they make is good and of good quality. The Value is just not as good, as in Performance vs Price. Look at any charts and triple the price for 2 degrees is not worth the money to many people. I have a few Noctua coolers and they serve me well, but if I had to buy a new cooler I may go elsewhere or AIO.

Now iirc msi was hit or miss with their QC, so it's probably between the Asus and Inno3D. I know Asus fairly well, but I haven't really dealt with Inno3D myself in the past and I don't find many opinions locally.

What is up with mech keyboards? I was in the market for an upgrade from my 10 year old Chinese Amazon special because the wire is starting to fray and I want something nice but every single mechanical keyboard I see has people complaining about shit breaking after less than 2 years, even the 100 dollar ones from decent brands. Plus even the chinkshit no name ones are at a premium compared to a cheap old Logitech. I have never had a membrane keyboard break on me, ever yet reddit threads and Amazon reviews are filled with complaints about these mech keyboards breaking, and somehow they're most of the market in peripherals. What is even the advantage? It le feels good? I went to microcenter to test some out and even the 200+ dollar boards didn't feel that different to me.

For anyone panicking about starting a basic 1080p build, I dug around and put this together. Let's face it, an AM5/DDR5 build today is pretty insane. AM4/DDR4 is still reasonable. For under $1000, this will be solid at 1080p and might do a little 1440p depending on the game and settings.

the intel cpus have better idle management too so power consumption on the desktop was always low + temps were waaay lower vs amd

After watching and reading many guides I have come to the conclusion that I am too low IQ for ram/cpu/gpu overclocking/undervolting. I can't afford to risk fucking things up. Are the basic normalfag options that come in the nvidia app and bios worth using? I thought I saw something here about basic PBO allowing the cpu to run as hot as it can go and possibly doing damage. Should I just not bother with any of it and run everything at stock? How much am I really losing out on? I turned on expo but I'm too afraid to do anything else. I read those comments from those anons doing ram modding in the other thread and it was like they were speaking another language. The idea is that you won't have to service the card because it's not covered in crusty putty with worse thermal performance. Also it's not that hard you're just retarded.

Can anyone identify this case? I had someone selling it locally for like $20 a month ago but I didn't buy it thinking I would be better of buying something modern with bigger fans, but now I feel like I fucked up massively because it would have fit nicely with the wooden furniture in my house. Sculpted shells like that look artsy and cozy in a way modern cases just don't.

I bought the 14600k based on this threads recommendations, but why shouldn't I have bought the 14600kf instead? Just so that if I have GPU problems it will be easier to troubleshoot? It seems like a waste of money. But I don't have the wisdom of the anons here so I must be missing something.
>>
>>107373064
>Just so that if I have GPU problems it will be easier to troubleshoot?
yes that was the reason for doing that
if you did not think it was a valid reason you should have bought the kf and saved $30
>>
>>107372822
I never thought about that, either. Took a sec to set up, but it definitely makes a difference.
>>
>>107373064
Unrelated, but I'm preaching this to every 14600K owner- use HWifo64 and monitor the current the CPU is drawing. Intel default is 181w. If it's hitting the limit, raise it up a tiny bit. I went to 195 on PL1 and PL2 (long and short duration power limits) and got a nice boost in performance.
>>
Since RAM's gotten 10x more expensive this feels like a great time to expand my PC's memory.

I have 32GB (2x16) DDR4 at 1330MHz.
If I wanted to buy 2 more sticks, would they need to be the same?
>>
>>107373064
>It seems like a waste of money
$20 for an iGPU isn't a lot when you're spending $1000+ on the whole build
just skip a doordash order and you'll make the money back
>>
>Finally upgrade to Win11 from Win10
>It's dogshit

Wtf is this OS. Things that used to take 1 click are now behind 3 actions. It has windows 7, win10 and Win11 menus all jumbled together. Everything is trying to get me to sign up for an account and enable notifications and it's full of ads and recommendations instead of the shit I want. It's just so bloated.

I have complete buyers remorse. Help me make this into something tolerable. I know there are some unbloaters out there

>>

Running 2 pairs of sticks, no matter how you set it up, the PC will default all 4 to the lower performance ram's specs.
>>
>>107373283
Well I was looking around for more 1330MHz sticks but as far as I can tell they may as well not be sold anymore.
Does that mean I'm better off getting a new couple sticks instead?

Both the CPU and GPU are at 100%. It may be smooth but thats because all the resources are focused on that one window. If you try to use Chrome or Discord or Steam or anything else it crumbles apart.

next years TVs will be insane too
I have CONFIRMED insider sources that next years flagship TVs will be 240hz (screencap this)
specifically Samsung
165hz top end tvs now -> 240hz
TVs will be on par with 4k monitors in refresh, superior pq and brightness (in qd oled that means just better color since pure rgb), more brightness, more betta
