>Linux sucks because it always breaks!
So just like Windows does each (forced) update? don't run random commands/scripts as root, I.e. don't be an idiot and you'll be fine, most issues are PEBCAK issues, regardless of OS. If a problem occurs, rollback to a btrfs snapshot (can be automated).
>I can't play videogames!
You can, Wine, Proton and Lutris exist. Unless you play shitty games (which require kernel ac), that is.
>[program] isn't available!
Maybe, but alternatives exist. You shouldn't use shitty software like Adobe's anyway. If you really need your [program], mutliple options for running Windows programs under Linux exist.
>It's full of malware!
So just like Windows? this is mostly FUD, but if you're really paranoid you can always ignore the AUR or equivalents and use Flatpaks and/or Appimages only, directly from the developers.
>It looks like shit!
You can make it look however you want, even like popular Windows versions such as 95, 2000 or 7.
>I don't like tinkering!
Then why do you do it on Windows? using external scripts and programs to "debloat" Windows already steps into tinkering territory. Even installing 10 IoT LTSC is a hassle, and could be considered tinkering. Nobody is forcing you to tinker unless you want to.
>I hate the terminal!
Cool, you don't have to use it. Why are you scared of a text box anyway? posting here takes more effort than a simple 'sudo apt upgrade'.
>It's fucking pozzed!
So just like every other company nowadays including Microsoft? at least with Linux you can choose to ignore almost all of the software you don't like. You're free to uninstall the bootloader if you want to.

Here's what you're going to do: get a usb stick and burn a Linux iso to it, forget whatever shitposting you've heard about Linux until now and choose one of the following distributions (personal recommendations):
>Kubuntu (Plasma)
Stable, good software support, traditional desktop experience, works good ootb.
>Fedora KDE (Plasma)
Like Kubuntu, but updates more often (twice a year).
>Linux Mint (Cinnamon, XFCE)
Lighweight, stable, traditional desktop experience, somewhat similar to Windows 7.
>EndeavourOS (Plasma)
Literally just Arch with a graphical installer, some stuff already set up for you. Access to newer packages, really good software support.

Get yourself a spare laptop and install your chosen Linux to it (or if you're brave, dual boot). Try to use it as your main machine for a week, use your prefered LLM for questions you may have (alternatively, ask /fglt/). Look for libre/FOSS alternatives to your usual programs. If you don't like your choice of distro, change to another one of the previous recs. After that week, if you feel comfortable with the result try installing Linux as your main OS and continue learning. There you go, I did the homework for you, now stop complaining and do something about it.
>OP is a fag, kys!!1!
You can either adapt or continue to suffer, the choice is yours. Have a great day anon.

How do I play Genshin Impact on Mint?

On Windows it's a 2-click install. On Linux is it 1???
