>Renders every non-system language obsolete>compiles to native
I wanna make software that compiles to native on Mac OS X so my family can use it. Swift is for Aryans. C# is for Latinx people.
It's the new C++. It can do everything but sucks at 95% of it.
I'm constantly amazed that C# isn't more popular, since you can run it on practically any hardware and it can compile to an executable. That said, I don't write any C# either, so I guess I can't complain.
>>107429210>sucksHow so ?Last time I checkes, the performance was way above swift, java, go
>>107429240All the expressiveness of C boilerplate syntax, all the complexity of Rust with mandatory GC, all the power and performance of javascript. Truly the ultimate language to surpass all others.
>>107429270>skill issue
>>107429210>It can do everything but sucks at 95% of it.You just described C++ bro, C# does things far better and it can even be faster than the modern C++ and the bloated dogshit they put in it.
>>107429270>C# is complexYou should absolutely give up programming and try out a new hobby lol
>>107429175Forces you into oop, which is the worst style of programing you could use for any usecase.
>>107429453This is like complaining Javascript has prototype-based inheritance when most people barely know what that even means these days. I've written C# for years without needing to inherit from another class
>>107429203>C# is for Latinx people.Latin#
>>107429498Bullshit. You use the std lib which is an oop hellscape. You are inheriting from hundreds of classes every time you do anything of note in C#. The entire ecosystem is a sea of technical debt.
>>107429548That's interesting you say that because there are no API's in the stdlib you *have to* use that require you to write OOP code, unless you count everything inheriting from Object because you're an idiothttps://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/csharp/language-reference/language-specification/standard-libraryOnce you're back from the link, please tell me all about how when you said stdlib you meant some other shit that isn't required either and tell me more about how you have no clue what you're talking about.
>>107429453I don't like OOP>skill issue
>>107429428he didnt say difficult.c# is definitely way more complex than most popular languages.
>>107429638>PopularMost popular lingo is PythonMost people are retardedErgo, Python is for retardsErgo Popular lingos are for low IQ morons resulting in terrible outcome (ai in Python)
>>107429638the only languages c# is less complicated than that are actually popularly used is go and javascript, and the latter is weakly typed. if you use typescript they are comparable. - php has all the features of c# and also the historical baggage of evolving from a web templating language- java does everything c# does and more, but is way more complicated because c# was also designed to be more simple after 5 years of lessons learned from java's mistakes- despite not having much in the way of a static type system in the base language (only annotations) python has about a billion ways to do everything in the base language whereas there is only one or two ways to actually do any given task in c#- don't even get me started on the autism that is ruby- c, c++, and rust really are in another league and are clearly way more complicated. before you say c is simple, sure the language might not have a lot going on (which is a strength) but that doesn't make the runtime environment simple to interact with. in practice, programming in c# is far more simple because the semantics don't require reasoning about such a complex and under-defined environmentIt really only gets worse from C#. If you think that it is so complicated, programming really isn't for you. Just do something else with your time. Ask claude to suck your dick for you or something
>>107429711idk what you are saying - who asked you anything about python?
>>107429744i wont respond to that, you apparently dont know the difference between something being complicated vs complex.
>>107429790you did respond though, by telling everyone here that you have a room temperature IQ. While you're looking at a dictionary for the first time I recommend you check out the word "synonym"
>>107429175>no access to pointers>forced garbage collectionNo thanks.
>>107429780Are you a female or something? He was talking about popular languages versus C sharp. Since Python is the most popular, it was tge perfect example why complex > popular
>>107429805leave him alone.
>>107429203>The most popular programming languages in Scandinavia are C#, Java, and Python, with JavaScript also being essential for web development.source: google's AI
>>107429270Not a single statement in this comment is true
>>107429175oop
>>107429805difficult and complex are 2 different things, arjun. ;)nobody claimed that c# is difficult to grasp - quite the opposite actually but its a bloated complex mess.
>>107429203>swift is for Aryanssaar, one, you're not an aryan, stop fooling yourself.two, swift is for drooling at the mouth retards
>>107430838That's a good thing, neet anon
>>107429175>OOPNo thanks
>>107429175I like it so far, but my opinion is worthless as I haven't written anything substantial in it. Yes my first exposure is game development using Unity, coming from a C++ background (I've never written anything useful).
>>107429845Scandinavians have too much Finngoloid ancestry to be considered pure Aryans.
