There are still ways to make UbO work on Chrome afaik. If not, Chromium forks are an option as well. And I say that as someone who uses Firefox as the main browser. A Chromium backup is a must-have. I recommend Brave, but Vivaldi works as well I guess. Or Opera if you want a free no-login multiple server choice VPN and Chinese Spyware (allegedly).

For whatever reason Brave will work with UBO in general, but when it comes to any Twitch adblock solutions it didn't work with my usual stuff/scripts.

Normal ublock works fine for me on UG.

Interesting. I haven't tried that on Brave, but I have heard that Brave in particular had some Twitch related issues recently where its users weren't able to even load the livestream or something like that. I wonder if it's a targeted thing or maybe something related to Brave's own built-in adblocker, maybe both.

Is it still necessary to use Ghostery and Decentraleyes

Or is Vanilla Firefox security enough?

What other add-ons should you get (not just security)

It has never been necessary. Who are you protecting yourself from using that?

Most my extensions are things that just unshittify youtube. Like caption search, comment search, thumbnail rating bar, shorts block, blocktube, sponsorblock

ubol is good enough on chrome.

At that point, you're just adding so much bloat on top of your browser to de-bloat a website. Why wouldn't you just use a simplified front end?
