If you set it smaller than your total installed RAM (plus a little extra overhead) you might have your PC occasionally fail to wake from sleep and need to be rebooted. That's pretty much it.

4x 8TB WD Reds
This is my 3rd RAID0 build, I've been using RAID0 since early 2000s and I have never had a single drive failure.
I only ever used WD for my RAIDs, my first one being a pair of PATA WD 36GB Velociraptors. Shit was so cash.
I remember driving for an entire day buying out the last remaining pre flood price inflations 2TBs WDs from all the locals Frys and Best Buys. $60 for each drive, these prices have never returned.
That 8TB RAID0 build lasted me about 7 years till around 2015. Ironically, I recently tried using one of those 2TB drives, and it was dead in the water.
I stress all my HDDs for a 3-7 days before I ever put them into production.

Because of the way windows allocates memory setting the pagefile to nothing or 800mb is essentially like taking your actual ram and dividing it by 1/3rd. You'll get out of memory type errors at like 18gb out of 32gb in not so extreme cases (looking at you chrome).

Nah man.
I was in your position once. I looked at a HDD in spacesniffer, said why the fuck do I have 2 large images of backups for the RGB30.
Next again week? Developers of the rockchip memeos had a melty and removed the images.

Last time I did a clean reinstall the only driver I had to update manually was for my GPU (Windows actually installs a GPU driver automatically but it's usually not the latest one)
Updates for Windows itself are done automatically and it only takes a few minutes if you've installed from an up to date ISO (MS releases one every month, though W10 ones end at Oct 2025 because after that the OS is on extended security updates. Also, LTSC releases only have one ISO on release and that's it, they don't get monthly ISOs containing security updates up to that point so you'll have to update an LTSC version after installing)

old photos had some value and meaning to those that owned them. Kodak ruined that, and ever since some people have felt the compulsion to make photos of every moment that could have otherwise been meaningful and social media has grown this group a thousandfold. despite collodion plates possibly containing more data than 500GB, since it's silver grain is on literally atomic scale, having 500 gigs of digital pics from a 2 week holiday, no matter what camera, is a compulsion, an addiction. Before Kodak, making photos actually required preparation and some idea beforehand of what you wanted to capture. few people in the 1800s had more than a half dozen photo's, and even that would be much.
