I assume my old PSU wasn't handling the transients very well. During inference it would hit 697W immediately and then slowly (about 10-15s) creep over 700W before tripping.

No problems at all since the new power supply even at the same wattages, but I use a 12VHPWR now though, so I don't have to worry about my card sucking down so much electricity as it can.
