What the fuck is going on?
I went to a few stores looking for new shoes. I never touched my phone to compare prices.
The next day I see ads for the exact shoes I looked at in my Google news feed.

Earlier today I was looking online at sunglasses.
Then while out of the house my gf sees ads for the exact same glasses from the exact same site on her FB feed.
What the flying fuck?
I use ad block on my main computer where I was looking at the sunglass.
What the fuck is another person in my house hold getting these ads?

What can I do to stop this?
I saw a tutorial using a Raspberry Pi and some Linux build that blocks all ads.
I used to use an ad less DNS but it was slow as fuck.
What are my options?

disable target ads if you're using android from your profile.

google send "telemetry" about you through their GPS. disable accurate GPS let it through network.

yup. 3rd party DNS. or use VPN while outside.

Only absolute fucking retards like OP don't go through every setting on their phone in every app and disable everything. I haven't seen a targeted ad in my entire life.

After taking trump's warp speed booster, bezos, gates and fauci can control you remotely, you only think you wanted those shoes, bezos guided you to them in reality

In large enough population centres stores have beacons set up to pick up phones and customer movements, this stuff is undoubtedly sold off and re-correlated.

The more likely reason in this case is a mixture of a marketing push and the Baader-Meinhoff phenomenon where you’ll start noticing something more once you’ve spent some time thinking about it. This is cause your brain filters out the majority of the shit you see and your conscious attention is only bought to things that are relevant. Previously, you’d have ignored the ad, but now that you have some sort of relationship to it, you’re going to see it and pick it up.

>baby just now realizing he might be under mass surveillance
kek
I really cannot fathom how people are this late to learning this, this shit was obvious in the early twenty-teens to millennials I cannot imagine being a zoomer and going through the same motions of realizing there's a massive government collusion effort with big tech known as PRISM which you absolutely fucking need to Google right now

Ignore this faggot trying to softly gaslight you

insane how corporations like jewgle and microshart have more info on you than your own government does

There are two possibilities:
1. The companies lie about spying, and the governments are either powerless or in in it.
2. The companies tell the truth, but their algorithms are so sharp they can predict your patterns and capitalize on it.
>>
>>107475892
a third possibility is that both of your statements are true and false at the same time

Lol. Google tracks your GPS location via your phone. That's how they can tell when there is a traffic jam or when shops are full of people. Just being around certain stores tell them you are interested in buying the product there. No need for fancy beacons or AI.

It sucks here but it gets even worse in the Anglosphere.
>>
>>107476404
The beacons are how they attach specific products and shops to your location.

the irony

you can't possible be this naive
>>
>>107474426
yes.
Your phone detects every WAP and they can track you. They saw you were in a sports or shoe store and started sending you advertisements.
The fact you didn't have an adblocker at bare minimum is your own fault.
