fucking gboard update assraped the performance and it's lagging. Heliboard and Florisboard look cool (dont need text prediction), tried both (floris feels better and more lightweight), but I need to type in japanese at times. is fcitx + anthy the only way to do this?

im a bit surprised none of these floss keyboard nerds are weebs desu

Yeah? That was the single best thing about it, it had no visible input lag or delay. It was the single biggest draw for me in using it.

yea it randomly buffers shit and I dont use any predictive crap or anything. autistically comb through settings. also cleared the cache and reset the themes, all to no avail. heli and floris work great but ugh I might have to switch to fcitx because I need the moon runes.
