I've started getting WMI Provider Host requests looping infinitely on Windows 10, maybe like 3 weeks ago idk, probably at the same time I use the ESU script, which I'm pretty sure must be the cause in some way.

Every few seconds it spikes in usage up to 18% then it goes away, repeat. The behavior really feels like it's trying to constantly install some sort of update in a loop. I've done dims / scannow, booted in safe mode and ran AV scans, I'm out of ideas. Plz halp.

Checking the logs, it's giving me ID 5858. Any tips on how to isolate the culprit?
