Why are people so fucking insane on this website? I wanted to use it because people recommended it as a good community tool for learning programming but I'm never ever adding anyone that I don't know IRL again.

My old job at a hobby shop had one and we had a staff chat there with our sched but the discord was dead. It's just group chats at this point. I remember when facebook was getting bigger and I would say shit like, "I'm not getting on facebook," and in the beginning you could say whatever the fuck you want but over time, companies found the site and was like, "OK, we can advert here," and now it's 1 big ass ad platform. FB was fun now it's trash as fuck. The site went down hill. Then we went to another site and another and now we are mostly on discord. I'm mostly on discord and texting at this point. I told anyone that's worth telling, that if they want me, text me. Normies use Discord. I would think WAY more than anyone else but they are mostly in "game friendly servers" like some game they play on their consoles like COD or some shit. I dunno, what do normies play?
