renee is not my primary cutie but oh trust me, family values are VERY MUCH at play.
speaking of cuties, a dude requested one of the more lewd pics from my folder, so here's one of those out of my primary cutie ashley, i'm already pretty much edging on a ban from this website just by sharing my passion for the game in the shape of a massive collection of reaction images (and not so reaction images) so might as well make it a bit more worthwhile for some people with what little i have of the more suggestive pics.

you should look in gametracker. steam cs server list will be botted as hell
you can also look in server list in non steam/cracked cs, you cant join every server but you can join at least 90% and there are less servers in the server list, but you can at least guarantee all of them are real and not redirects

i have enough posts to respond without filling up the thread with too many posts so there is more space to post desktops or discuss shit.

>>107483681
i don't think i am missing much with just using baseline arch personally, like sure cachy is optimized and all but the default bloat it had gave me a bad taste, this is actually how i hopped from debian to arch back when the year started, i've had issues with davinci resolve (still unresolved, no pun intended) and someone suggested me to use cachy on discord cause i had issues changing drivers to nvidia's proprietary ones on debian (and on fedora too, though that one was way earlier), happy arch user ever since.

>>107483963
i've actually seen two of the setups here on discord, matter of fact i knew one of the dudes since 2019

It's the eternal redditor. They see threads as paradigmatic sub-reddits that they desire to own, to moderate, to rule. They get upset of someone "steals" being OP. They think they are crucial to the thread beyond having posted it. They crave persistent account identity and reputation accrual. They crave these things even more than slobbering cocks, which is proportional to the amount that they hate their very own cocks which they wish were never there.

You are 100% correct! We are catching them like you wouldn't believe. These are SICK PEOPLE, folks. Total losers. They are ruining the board, they are ruining the internet, and frankly, they are ruining the country. But we are getting them out!

I have been saying it for a long time: LAW AND ORDER. You have to have it. The cleaning up has begun, and it’s going to be a Total Purge. We are draining the swamp, and we are draining this board of the degenerates and the creeps.

Get them out! Get them out in the cold without their coats! We are going to have a clean board, a beautiful board, safe for our people. KEEP WINNING!
>>
>>107487347
it's definitely very much finished but don't expect accurate apps like the file manager because the dev team simply doesn't want to deal with that, i did discover https://gitgud.io/snailatte which is a third party addon to aerothemeplasma a bit back though so maybe you'll find their unfinished projects worthwhile. in the edge case that you don't find them worthwhile, however...

>>107487882
did you read and follow the install.md with surgical precision? if you did already (and made sure that you are in fact on the vistathemeplasma session) then i am pretty sure that you can go to edit mode, add a panel and you'll find something called "vistathemeplasma taskbar". also, in terms of dolphin, my advice to you (and the other anon) is to customize dolphin, picrel is how i made my thing look like.

not having them will probably really throw me off for a couple of months which i dont want to waste just getting used to a very niche project

ive been looking at i3 & awesomewm, maybe i'll write a lil script to auto manage workspaces on i3 for me.
>>
>>107497570
iirc i3 creates workspaces as needed. you can also run sway, the wayland port. i3 is one of the most “usable” tiling window managers. you should look into manual tiling window managers.
peep this link too https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Comparison_of_tiling_window_managers

If you're a no-coder or just lazy, I'm quite sure you can get away by asking chatGPT or Claude to write you that. I managed to tinker a lot of things in my previous i3 and that was like 2024, AI isn't that terrible anymore.
Good luck by the way, hope you can get around that.
>>
>>107497611
i am currently using niri since it fits my workstyle the most
- dynamic workspaces (cleaning up "workspace 1" if i move stuff around)
- infinite scrolling sideways so i can keep relevant things without running out of space
- overview mode being super good

>i3 is one of the most “usable”
Heard good things about it
>you can also run sway
i used sway before, and as i said, i don't like how everything in wayland is like "unstable" or the missing features, i do understand the perks of each, im not a black&white opinion person

>>107497630
I don't mind coding, i have plenty of bash scripts that run in the background for making my experience easier or better

My biggest issue right now is the pros and cons of each;
wayland being pretty loyal for me so far and not having any issues outside of a few annoyances because every wm has to implement their own solutions for things, and also no virtual monitors lol
and x11 just being stable overall, time tested and and has pretty much everything built-in that most wayland wms have to reimplement each time

unless of course i am wrong, more information or guidance is welcome on these topics.

This is literally the first time I'm recommending EXWM to anyone here, lol. I don't even think Emacs is "perfect," I just think it's a good platform for tinkering, exactly the kind of thing the other anon asked.
Did your wife cheat on you with an Emacs user, by any chance? Or were you abused by an Emacs user when you were a child? I can't think of any other reason to stress so much about a mere computer program, lol.
>>
>>107497807
>exactly the kind of thing the other anon asked.
I'm not that much of a tinkerer.. sure a little but, I like to get things done
I'm just searching for a tiling wm that is similar to what niri does but for x11

I am *very* interested in this. I use Emacs daily to write plain text but am a nocoder. I presently use Openbox. How difficult should I expect it to be to transition? Will it run xpenguins?
>>

>How difficult should I expect it to be to transition?
It's been some months since the last time I used EXWM.I used it for a few years, so I can't tell you exactly what difficulties I had at the beginning. But the few things I remember:
>running a command without async
Easily solved with <C-g>, but depending on what you did, you might lose the EXWM session. It's something you get used to naturally and start using async more. Pain makes you learn.
>emacs keybindings conflicting with applications
This was probably what gave me the most headaches. In Firefox, for example, you can close a tab using <C-w>, but the command goes through XELB first, meaning Emacs will capture it before Firefox. The same goes for others like <C-c> <C-v> etc. My workaround was to pass some specific exceptions for each application in the EXWM config. Firefox was the only application I really had problems with.

I think those were the main things you learn in the first few days. The only reason I'm no longer using EXWM is because I'm using envrc + guix. I haven't yet found a good way to integrate EXWM with Guix manifests, so I ended up going back to XFCE, at least until I find a good way to handle this. The problem is that when switching shells, Emacs hangs until it completes. This is very annoying because I'm always in different applications; switching shells basically means waiting a few seconds for envrc to complete and Emacs to become usable again. But this is a very specific issue in my case. If you don't use envrc, you probably won't have this kind of problem. I intend to go back to EXWM soon, I just need to find a way to make this workflow work. Which is a shame. GNU Guix and Emacs should operate naturally, without requiring so much workaround.

Every Emacs user I see is like this. Why? Are there not any "normal" Emacs users that just use Emacs for text editing?

Like, you are either a turbo autist that obsesses over Lisp and does literally everything from Emacs, or you've never even heard of Emacs. No in between. Where are the normal, sane Emacs users?
>>
>>107504782
>Emacs users that just use Emacs for text editing?
I did that for almost 15 years lol. The only reason I started using Emacs was because it was the same code editor my professor used in college. So I wanted to have the same environment as him. Besides, Emacs was free, while other IDEs were paid and I was poor as fuck.
I spent about 15 years basically using the same Emacs configuration that I stole from my professor back then. I think it was only after unixporn that I started paying more attention to Emacs ricing. Before that, I simply didn't even think it was possible to customize it that much.

Today my use of Emacs is more extensive because of my work. My personal computer is GNU Linux, but I need to work in a Windows computer. The fact that I don't have the same tools in both environments sucks, so I started concentrating more and more things in Emacs, to the point where it doesn't make much difference between using Linux or Windows. So today Emacs serves me more as an abstraction platform. The only thing that doesn't really perform the same is Magit, but Git is naturally slow on Windows, so Emacs isn't to blame for that.
Also, the work environment is extremely controlled, so I can't download things like Thunderbird, Zathura, etc on Windows. At least they allowed me to install Emacs, so it was only natural for me to concentrate everything in Emacs.

I figured out some new aspects for refinement. I'd already set global xterm fonts in .Xresources, but now adjusted the openbox rc.xml key bindings for starting xterm boxes with tty-clock and cbonsai to have their own xterm font sizes so I can match the geometries. This allows them to be evened up with each other vertically and frees up more of the workspace area.

Only keybindings that are in either exwm-input-global-keys or exwm-input-prefix-keys would cause problems. Off the top of my head, only C-x and C-c would cause problems in Firefox (you'd have to pass them with exwm-input-send-next-key, i.e. C-c C-q). I'm guessing C-w and C-v causing problems is an evil-mode problem.

shits as dead as nina, so imma try to at least spark something, i've also came to the realization that half of my folder now consists of ashley graves so yeah apparently she's my waifu. gotta consider sorting images by source media and maybe find more.

>>107510804
this feels like one of those mid-2010s desktops, and i sure as fucking hell love mid-2010s desktops, whaddya use to achieve that?

>>107510816
love the handlebar here. pretty hi-tech, we should actually normalize these fuckass sci-fi aesthetics given that we've been fantasizing about them for literal AGES.

my opinion on trans people is that they exist, they can exist, they're not fucking up my life, which is what is important to me. hatred is a fucked up thing tho and it has been fucking up everyone's life therefore it should not exist.

glad to bring back some of the memories lol
i think its a really good wallpaper imho cause good design doesn't age, and this is proof of that
still like yo shit by the way

It's past 200 posts, always happens, gotta find a website more active than this for desktop sharing that has no pedophiles and faggots to ruin it.

is there a tiling window manager for windows? i am comfortable with i3... windows' virtual desktop shit is trash, if you minimize a window on a desktop it will ALWAYS open on that window, forever, no way to reset except minimizing somewhere else. maybe you can regedit it. but like what

I have really accomplished some major things in my DESKTOP today: I figured out how to get Emacs to open in the scratch buffer, and for said buffer to be completely blank upon opening. THEN I figured out how to get Emacs to open at the exact geometry of my workspace area, and pinned to the top left corner thereof. With each passing day I get ever closer to being ready to WORK, which is what all of this has been preparing for.

I have almost achieved:

By "theme" you mean the Emacs theme or the XFCE theme? Here's another "dark" theme I have around, but maybe it doesn't blend well with the rest of the desktop because of the warmer colours. I might be wrong though.

I know that there are things that Emacs depends upon for it to exist, but I still think there's a chance that Emacs is, pound for pound, the single best thing ever created for computers.

It's a desktop booru-like application that I've been doing lately.
I will probably release the source code once I get backup, import and export correct. I mean, it works nice and does the job for me.
Also, I still didn't managed to find a proper way to work with fonts in Raylib, so I'm still using the default one, I need to fix that as well.

I was trying to keep things simple, but it turns out that raygui helps a lot. I will probably make some overhaul of the current codebase to use raygui instead of raw dogging pure raylib.
