Bro, AB's forums are dead as hell. Pretty much the only active threads are the ones for each of the currently airing anime and almost all of those have less than 50 posts (and the season is almost over). Worse, if you actually skim those threads you'll see that in any given thread the vast majority of the posts are made by a couple people talking to each other.
Each show has a page with torrents that gets comments and most shows have barely any comments just saying stuff like "this show sucks". Occasionally people will recommend a release but they won't elaborate and you won't notice until too late that the reason they recommended it is because it's the most burgerized release.

The meme user class is a new thing. Previously it didn't have upload requirements at all (35% of users in that class had zero uploads). It's also counterintuitive but every time you download something and every time someone downloads something from you counts as a snatch, so previously they just had really high snatch requirements and only people with uploads could reach the high userclasses, but now that the site has been around for so long that's no longer the case. Private trackers are really organized and have trump rules and stuff. So you can pretty much just look up the movie/game/music artist/whatever and you'll get a page with what are currently considered the best torrents for each source.
You can also subscribe to stuff (like favorite directors, or TV shows, or favorite bands, or whatever) and get notifications whenever there's a new upload in that category. This makes grabbing new episodes and stuff take almost no time at all.

I've been getting tired of not having the software I want either up to date or available at all on the repos and having to all external repos, compile from source or run install scripts directly from their website. I understand why some people like the stability of debian, but as time goes by I'm starting to value having up to date packages and the AUR more.
