once you have been in cs long enough there isn't a lot of useful things left to learn.
at that point i'm just moving to other fields because i've gone around pm most of cs.

physics would be different as there is always new discoveries to be made but cs is a human created field and thus guaranteed to be finite in scope, the only things left to explore are more akin to math than "muh learn this or that new technology".
