Theoretically you should be able to do the reverse too. Train a model to recognize sounds or images that appear to be promoting a brand so they can be automatically blocked. I was already thinking about this to work with any video stream including cable broadcasts or Youtube.

This is the result of unrestrained capitalism fueled by soulless indians. There is no longer a clean break between the art and the profiteering. The user must always be bombarded with endless advertisements to the detriment of the media where it is appearing in. But to be fair, if someone does include this in their movie/tv show then no self respecting person would watch it anyways.

I mean you have to give it to him, that was a good idea. What the winner does not realize is, the idea will be stolen and his cred for winning the hackathon will not be worth shit by the time he graduates. There will always be equally good prompt engineers but willing to work for less, who will implement it for BigAd. His fellow Jeets in fact, but located in India. Why are indians so fucking stupid? I’m genuinely curious. It’s like they’ve been trained to look for qualitative differences in how to approach problems, without knowing how problem solving actually works.
East Asians typically understand that a quantitative increase in their efforts will have some sort of positive outcome.
Whites understand the utility of harder work, but they also know that changing their approach can yield better outcomes.
What makes indians the worst of both worlds?
>>
>>107484319
Here's the thing about this that all of you are forgetting.
All the money that has to change hands for advertising. Product placement would be something like "we average 2 million viewers per episode. Give us $50k and it'll be your brand of beverage on screen" (numbers are all guesses and speculation). How do you get the people to buy placement when it's random whether it's their product or a competitors? And you can't have it generate the placement and bill the product company afterwards - legally they'd be under no obligation to pay. And if nobody is paying there will be zero reason to make free ads.
Furthermore, there's one realm where this would never ever work - free over the air broadcast television. Unlike every other video service (satellite TV, cable, streaming services, etc) there's no way to identify a television broadcast receiver - it's strictly a receiving antenna, nothing is transmitting back.
