I got this bitch on Cybermonday for $300!I might format it and put steamos on it. Windows 11 is a bit laggy. I already own a first gen steamdeck. This is definitely an upgrade in terms of screenof and power. 74fps in diablo 4. So far I love it. Been playing Diablo 4 the past few days. I’m going to upgrade the battery in it. I also got a vacuum and a new microwave, but those are boring. Just got a good deal on them. What did yall order on Cybermonday? Afterthoughts? Do you regret your purchases? I sure don’t.
>>107484748Needs Bazzite.
>>107484762Thanks I’ll give it a whirl. I’ll make a YouTube video on it.
>>1074847481TB SD Card for my GPD.Luckily the price hikes haven't touched sd cards so far.>>107484762SteamOS officially supports the Ally, why Bazzite? CachyOS I understand because it actually offers a more open desktop environment.
>>107484748im looking at getting the Xbox version of this since its 110 dollars of at best buy. where the fuck was this 300 dollars.
>>107484789Good man.
>>107484748You need a matching keyboard to go with it.
>>107484822Sam’s club. It was a cyber Monday deal.
>>107484976>$320
>>107484976I just use a random Bluetooth keyboard I had laying around.
>>107484748I have a Steam deck. Handhelds are annoying to use. It’s a good idea in theory. Solid devices for what they are, but software support is lacking. Just like VR. I got a meta quest on Monday. It’s ok.
Great for minecraft
>>107484748Anons, I can't justify paying full price for a deck because I already have PC but I still want something to play with in bed I guessI was thinking getting a cheap used console like an Xbox one S or Series S but don't want to buy games again when I have them on steam already. What should I do?I don't play resource intense games, usually 2D indies, Skyrim, maybe some ubislop. Nothing competitive.
>>107484748My wife's boyfriend bought me the same!
congrats! you can now play>very intelligent way to spend money anon!
>>107487702Not all games on steam can play on the steamdeck, especially if it's graphic heavy. Pixelated games perform alright. Alternatively, you could buy a used older versions of the rog ally, legion go, or msi claw. They're around the same price range as a steam deck, but can handle more intense graphics. They have windows pre-installed, so you can always download steam on it.Cheapest route probably would be buying a used Razer Kishi, installing game emulators on your phone, and downloading roms from vimm's lair or some other place.
>>107487702SteamLink on your phone & a wireless controller or keyboard.
>>107484748that's a great price
>>107484748I have an older version and the shitty GPU connector is now permanently stuck, can't remove it without destroying the case
I'm thinking about buying a gpd win mini...
