It's a thin but powerful productivity laptop) and its build is pretty good... but it's still not as thin as a MBP and it gets hotter and has worse battery life. It isn't even the build quality really. It's the commitment to software/hardware synthesis as part of the same Mac platform. Everything they code/write is far less taxing on your hardware than Windows. Low energy usage, performant, quit memory footprint, all that, it's just well optimized. Over time this means your computer guts get used a lot less and pushed to the brink rarely. PC on the other hand, Windows will have it gasping for air when opening notepad. It's obscene.
