customer service is gay
ai is gay
you should be able to manage everything through a website.

Just like you wouldn't want AI making changes to your computer without your knowledge, companies generally don't want AI making changes to people's accounts without their knowledge. It's risky business if AI makes a change for the user that would otherwise be prohibited. Someone could prompt engineer the bot to gain access to someone's account. This spells legal trouble for the company.

Yes self-service portals should be made well enough so that you can fix everything yourself. Calling or chatting into customer service should be a last resort that a maximum of 1% of accounts need to ever do.

GPT chatbots were already up by 2020
February 2019 for GPT-2 API, December 2019 for AI Dungeon
