Why doesn't this shit have a light theme? If it's Qt-based shouldn't it be easy to force a light mode Resolve?

Why don't cinemas have a light mode? If the lights in a cinema can be dimmed, then it should be easy to force them to stay on?

That's a weird analogy because I am editing with Resolve on a desktop. I don't want to use shitty fucking dark modes, I hate them so god damn much.

Cause color grading is done in low light conditions, so theres no demand for light theme. Also i have a hunch that real development team of DVR is like 4.5 autists and they simply don't have the bandwidth for low priority tasks.

dark mode originated in vfx software more than twenty years ago and is far more common to see there than it is with other software

you would know this and why it is this evolved if you actually knew anything about video production. enjoy not being able to differentiate subtle colors and tones of the thing you're working on with a glowing bright white UI, retard

People generally edit overnight so a dark mode is ideal. Premiere Pro offers a light mode of you need it as does windows movie maker 2.1.
