I'm just a consoomer, but why exactly are they bad? They make stuff that's free and rely entirely on voluntary contributions. GCC works just fine. Emacs works just fine. Mozilla Firefox works just fine for browsing Pornhub and 4chan. An organization's policies should be of no concern to me if they're not actually getting any money from me.
