Stop trying to write to memory you don't own.

segfaults are an inherent part of writing operating systems in C. All 5 of them are written in C. That theming is so soul makes me feel like a 1337 hacker fucking Anelina Jolie.

each process in Windows NT is isolated in its own private virtual address space unlike Win9x, has nothing to do with C

This is an inherent part of writing operating systems for hardware platforms with memVMs, which all 3 of them have. It doesn't do anything to change the fact that you'll segfault if you try to write to memory that isn't yours. Not to mention that obviously doesn't apply to drivers which is what caused most blue screens even back in the 9x days.
