I'm learning electronics using ChatGPT.

Is it good? Bad...? What am I in for?
>>
You could put this in the retard thread but you spend all your time posting retarded shit on the daily.
Your whore mother should have swallowed you
>>
You aren't learning.

I don't use this board what thread should I have out this in

>>107494737
So what should I use instead? YouTube?
>>

Your mother blows pigs
Fuck off and use google
>>
>>107494782
Why are you so mean?
Also isn't using Ai the same as searching something on google
>>
Anything established and well documented is perfectly safe to learn via ChatGPT. It's just going to give you what you'll find in textbooks anyway.

I learned electronics by actually fixing electronics
>>
it would be better if you used good source material
a) videos from actual university lectures
b) actual textbooks
then you can use the LLM to unstuck when you don't get something

it's better because a person that is learning is not knowledeable enough to steer the LLM to the correct shape of the things should cover. LLM go for wild sidequests and you wouldn't even know you are getting sidetracked
>>
>>107494988
My recommendation is to plan your own syllabus and then have the LLM follow that.
>>
>>107494725
can it show schematics? tried some LLM bitch was making ASCII art for schematics lmao
>>
>>107495592
I search them online
>>
It's good if you have some way of checking that what you're learning is correct. Looking up information is what LLMs excel the most at, but since it is only a statistical approximation of the textbooks it was trained on, it will mess up from time to time. If you also build circuits in a simulator to test things out while learning then you should be good.

U need some hands on experience. otherwise you won't be learning anything
>>

learn by either fixing electronics or learning about them by reading an electrical engineering textbook. you can find them on libgen or Anna's archive
electronic devices by floyd is a good place to start
