Why did the power button turn into pink/lila after power outage? Blue is on, orange is standby why pink? It used to go away after a few days but its been 3 months this time, it wont power on. I tried holding down power button for 30 seconds, unplugging everything, trying different outlets even brought it to friends place etc. Cant afford a new one right now help me anons

bro your monitor is 10+ years old
time to bury it

someone you know probably has one, or just maybe check a thrift or e-waste recycle spot for something that works
>>
You're going to need to find your way out of the mirror dimension. That might be enough to fix it.

Are you underage? Save money and buy something that isn't ancient (and now broken). Why are you asking a question about this specific monitor on /g/? WTF

Best case scenario: leave it unplugged for 24 hours + keep pressing the power button for 5 minutes (while unplugged)
Second best case scenario: check the fuse inside the monitor and replace it if it's broken (dirt cheap btw)
Most likely: a capacitor popped, either solder a new one or buy a replacement power supply board.

+ worst case scenario: something on the motherboard (not the power board!) is fried. You're fucked then.

Open it up and look for blown up capacitors or a fuse. Anything other than that will be hard to diagnose so you will have to just bite the bullet and get a new monitor instead. Lucky for you monitors with the exact same specs have gone down in price a lot over the year. The cheapest ones go by 80-100$.
