Do you support net neutrality? Why or why not? I can't see why a public good or public infrastructure like the internet should be at the whims of mega corps that just want to data mine us for little cost and huge profits. Why don't we sculpt the internet for the people and make it based on the user's end, rather than being top-down? The internet was, by design, for autonomous self-control, but now it's just a greedy phone company with more surveillance than ever.
I don't support net neutrality because I don't believe that slop like Netflix should be treated like me.They should be taxed twice as hard for every single byte as I am.
>>107502974Net neutrality only work in a trustful society. And the internet is now a cesspool of bad actors. It makes perfect sense to limit the throughput of known troublemaker. And even on a trustful Intranet, it doesn't make sense to treat all traffic equally, anyway. Karen's youtube video is NOT more important than your remote site's backup.

>>107502974Now that internet access is necessary for so many things like school or work. Paying bills, shopping for things unavailable locally then YES I fully support net neutrality 100% because internet access is a necessity for everyone
