All the “safety” you get is illusory and condescending. Behind your back people mock you. Your CS professors are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “fellow devs” laugh at your borrow-checker battles behind closed doors.
Real programmers are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of evolution—from assembly to C—have allowed them to sniff out frauds with incredible efficiency.
