Are EU energy labels a meme? I noticed that the Redmi Note 14 5G version has, according to the label, 10 hours less use per charge and has 1000 cycles to 80% battery life compared to the non-5G model which has 1600 cycles and a longer lasting charge. Turns out the 5G battery is actually smaller too. One has a rating of B and the other a D.Are those tests of any use at all or are they so hyperspecific that you might as well not bother? Why would you buy the 5G version at all unless you really care about a higher speed if it means your battery becomes obsolete twice as fast? And what about the whole 20%-80% range you're supposed to keep your phone in? I watched some guy on YouTube test it and apparently that's also just a meme?
