It is I the current underrated OS.
Yes.
They don't seem to know which direction they're going in with leap and tumbleweed making totally different decisions. Also it's riddled with woketards even by Linux standards.
>>107516944I tried installing it on my laptop the other night but no matter what I did, the wifi applet on the bottom right showed "unavailable" so I couldn't access wifi. Asked Grok and tried everything it suggested but no luck. Its the only distro that has given me this issue. Now I'm back on Mint.
only mutable distro with rollback
>>107519184Cachy and Garuda have it as well and they also have codecs out of the box
>try to install openpepe>it takes over 30min because zypper is trash>the installer itself is also trash>yast is trash>default repos are barren (lmao just add this iffy 'packman' repo with a .de domain and dogshit speeds if you need codecs)>obs is trash>userbase is non-existent yeah, no
Why do you keep making this thread? The distro went to shit and we went to elsewhere, fuck those retards that burned it to the ground
>>107519781opensuse bros... this cant be happening, we're losing our users!
>>107518251"Asked Grok"Please kill yourself
>>107519198>Cachy and Garuda>ColonoscopyOS (kernel\scheduler_modified_shit) and SAARcontributedOS with ChaoticAUR (binary repository with pre-built packages)1. your skin is BROWN2. SAARch Linux is tha best saar3. do not redeem saar
They can't even maintain packages without causing breakages because they lack maintainers. They abandoned yast because of sheer incompetence the new methods are hacky and stupid>>107518251Just use fedora, shit works out the box and they are in the middle of transitioning to copilot and fucking Myrlin which last time I checked couldn't even update all of my packages leading me to have to use zypper. The distro is in a horrible state and they get ultra defensive when people point out their failures for doing basic shit.
You are all just bad with computers. Opensuse works fine, YaST is an easy tool.
>>107520242Why are you larping about using opensuse? They abandoned yast months agoWhen yast was working everything went well and they stopped maintaining it and everything is broken and shit
>>107520263I am using Tumbleweed right now. It is simple to get everything through base repos, community repos (there is a lovely command called opi that checks all the community repos for software), or flatpaks.
>>107520292If you used tumbleweed you would know of those changes, can you not reply with some AI slop just because you talked out your ass? What you think anons wanted to leave what used to be a good distro just because? They completely fucked everything up and now people were forced to migrate.
>>107516944if you want no software or flatpak, yeah
>>107519946*cockpit It still stands they stopped maintaining what made the distro good and it's being replaced by worse generic tools that should not be used for local administration. Packages have never been as unstable as they are now and they have one guy working on nvidia drivers and every update is a pain in the ass when more bleeding edge distros have less conflicts overall. This is what happens when you call already liberal people rotted flesh for not agreeing with you 1000% on everything, you're short on man power and you can't do shit competently
Guess I'll see you in the next shill thread OP
