It's not a problem as some other professional software have used node based interfaces for decades by now.
It's just the fact comfyui uses big blocks and it's from left to right, not from top -> down.
There is no clear flow and you can't just glance the setup and see what is going on.

Small update looking into twinflow no one cares about

I'm going to try to apply Twinflow to Pixart-Sigma since it's small, even smaller than SD 1.5 and can 100% fit on consumer cards, even a 3060 12GB can do it

The 7900 xtx (inb4) i had chilling at my desk was flashed with 6900xt bios for whatever reason so drivers can't install and it's not my team's card so I can't flash the vbios to fix this. I asked my colleague and he can get me a 7900xtx by Monday which kinda sucks because I was looking forward to attempting a training run over the weekend

You can pause training so I guess I can do it at home on my 5070ti. If AMD is a non starter and training is straightforward on Nvidia, at the very least I can twinflow SD 1.5 and pixart sigma for fun and learning

Around mid to late January my team will be getting some 32GB AI9700 cards so I could probably make a twinflow of wan1.3b but like who cares..

I liked the initial soft version, and pretty much anons posting how easily trainable it is made me finally try for the first time. Though I'm sort of failing, so, any tips? Specifically I'm trying to go for a style as well, played with the captions, it's transferred alright but I'm losing the coherence of the small details. Doing another run after throwing away lower res pics, leaving the training only at 1024px but so far doesn't look like there's much improvement.

Now since you are retarded, let me explain why Z-Image Base will take a lot longer to train than Z-Image Turbo:

Z-Image Turbo was a model made only for generation, so when training it the just have to look at the output samples to see when it's done and giving great quality across a wide range of concepts.

Z-Image Base is a foundation model explicitly made for training upon, this means that in order to see how well the model works for this purpose, they need to pick snapshots while training and use those to TRAIN something else on and then check the output of those TRAINED models to see if it works well for a wide range of training concepts.

This of course is a lot more complex and time consuming, hence it will take a lot longer time to finish than training a mere image generation model.

Notice how slopped it is before distillation, if they'd release it in that state, it'd be more DoA than Flux 2.

A 'base' model only means that it is a base for something. The base model used to distill Turbo was made to generate high quality aesthetically pleasing images primarily for photography, so they generated a shit ton of images using that particular base model and cherry-picked the best images according to their taste and used those to train Z-Image Turbo.

This base model is NOT the same as a base model made for training upon, very different criteria. A base model made to train upon should know a TON but not have bias towards some aesthetic, basically 'jack-of-all-trades master of none'

Okay, this genuinely impresses me. But in other contexts, it feels like "bobcut" and "short hair" tend to come out shoulder-length, while "pixie cut" and "boy cut" come out chin-length, and any shorter on a girl is nigh impossible. The same holds for photorealistic girls. I've tried "very extremely super short hair" and it still comes out shoulder-length. Haven't tried

i have my own little workflow that is tiny compared to that thing and does perfect long videos, just load an image, set all the prompts in one list of strings set number of iterations and at push of button i'm cooming my brains out. But I had to download a few cancerous workflows like the one you've posted in order to figure out simple things like looping over image output. I might actually share it once I've added a few minor changes.

My only issue i have with it is bigger models time out a lot because there is no way to configure the server?
