They discover a new hobby, make videos about everything interesting about it, but at some point, they reach a ceiling: they've covered eveything of value. Some just drop out (Luke Smith), some reduce their output (Mental Outlaw), and some just continue with "slop" content (distro/DE/WM reviews, drama commentaries) to maintain output because YT is their career now.
