Imagine how many more words you would have to try to explain that they don't have for. Lastly, how are you going to sit with them and be like, "okay, so there was once this guy named Abraham..." and reach them to the proper understanding needed for them to think, "huh, this is very interesting. Very fascinating indeed". When it's this level of savagery you need to do what the Spanish did which is kidnap one of their own, take care of them until they learn the language, send them back to act as a mediator. I recall seeing an interesting theory that the reason the island tribe is so "isolated" was that maybe 3-ish centuries ago, a gang of bandits fled to the island to avoid getting revenge killed by some other tribe they pissed off. And the reason they react so aggressively is that they've spent generations telling their kids, "anyone that shows up is here to kill you." But now they are starting to get inbred and retarded enough that it's slipping a bit.Because ordinarily a tribe would have some connections to neighbouring ones. Or at least those neighbouring tribes would have generational oral traditions about them (especially ones that are such giant assholes). But if they kind of popped up randomly like that, it might explain it.
