Sony used to give you a more raw experience and just invest heavily in lens perfection and sensor quality. But that edge quickly got surpassed by software in the recent years, leaving Sony very late to that. Unfortunately it is now an arms race of who can cheat the hardest with now entire fucking on board ai models for image gen. It's ridiculous. Sony still stands as one of the least software obtrusive options for a camera, which to some see that as better than pixel or whatever Apple is doing or similar. And they're not wrong
