DO NOT google "67"
>>107540034OK I won't
>>107540034What if I bing it?
Someone at Google decided to waste time on this. Worth the million dollars a year for sure.
>>107540135do NOT google "do a barrel roll"
>>107540135You really think this sort of thing takes long to implement? This is the kind of thing you can make while waiting for something to compile.
>>107540034>DO NOT googleI haven't for years now.
>>107540034I dont remember when last time i used google, it was probably 6 months ago by accident.
>>107540194>You really think this sort of thing takes long to implement?I didn't say nor imply that. A small waste of time is still a waste of time. It's a matter of priorities and principles.I'm responsible for Google's primary product which has been getting worse, how will I spend my time? Implementing memes that an intern could do as a homework project at a quintillion dollar company. It gives some insight into their thought process and care.
>>107540212>I'm responsible for Google's primary product which has been getting worse, how will I spend my time? Not by switching to a massive project for 10 minutes. You're going to get nothing done in it. But something little you can do.Or maybe it was implemented by an intern.
>>107540135there is a lot of these annoying little thingsdo a barrel rollsplatoonzerg rush
>>107540212>>107540255I don't think anyone working on Google doodles has any responsibility beyond smiling for the diversity hire photos for the HR site.
>>107540255Unfortunately the thing that comes to my mind is Go. People at Google legitimately managed to design and implement a language incrementally in the time normally spent waiting for C++ projects to compile.I get that people like to have fun and goof around but it's a much different standard when we're talking about Google Search versus Timmy's first side project at LiterallyWho Inc. You know?
