Why hasn't anyone sued OpenAI for the ram shortage yet? Doesn't it fuck over every single big tech company? Wouldn't have one of them have done something by now?

you don't understand. the US government doesn't serve americans. it serves israel and the jews.
>>
>>107540508
Ok but how does making ram more expensive for every company except for openai help the jews?
>>
>>107540525
It doesn't, you're talking to a retard.
OpenAI is losing bad, they use way more resources than their competition but keep getting surpassed, this is going to blow up in their faces.
>>
>>107540525
So they can keep hardware from going to non-jewish places, americans are an after-thought
>>
>>107540541
So is everything except for openai is non-jewish and openai is the only jewish company?
>>
>>107540484
Why would a company get sued for contributing to market demand? That means everyone else should be sued because they contribute to demand as well.

OpenAI will lose long term but when they start liquidating their assets, the data centers took billions of dollars to construct so they will be sold to other more powerful companies who will use everything inside of them.
So the RAM shortage really is permanent until production is ramped up supplier side. There will be no returns or refunds from OpenAI. There will be no restocking of DDR4 or DDR5.
Its simply over already.
When OpenAI fails they will move aside and let another tech giant take their place.
Its like watching a bank fail and thirty others suck up their customers.

Won't happen until late 2028 at the earliest

there will be a lot of losers selling off their used server hardware into the market that aren't the big 4 AI winners this coming year regardless. Big AI will run out of investors, stop ordering new hardware, and the whole thing will come down in a giant pile for the silicon makers. Heck, even a single AI innovation could destroy their bottom line if they don't have to throw all the hardware in the world at their next model to train it.

If the chinks release another Deepseek that will do a pretty close job at much lower cost, the megacorps will be finished
>>
>>107540484
Blame ram companies for not increasing production.
>>
>>107540484
>sue a company for buying products from another company
???? in what way are you entitled to those products more than OpenAI enough to petition the government to block certain transactions that you don't like?

Yeah it sucks you can't buy/upgrade your PC super cheap anymore but welcome to capitalism. who knows, out of this it might justify R&D in to better tech, a new type of technology or computing that might have a better ROI
>>
>>107540484
because that would not serve the capitalists.

>>107540508
capitalists are more than just israel and the Jews

truth
>>
>>107543123
Deepseek was trained by other AI. You can't release anything innovative under that paradigm.
>>
Why doesn't that nigger Elon invest in American fabs? Importing billions of browns won't do much if the LLM you sit them at gets cucked by Scam Altman fucking the market.
>>
PC sales and components are collapsing. Many of them didn't care about the consumer market anyway, so hell with them.

Musk would just want to replace cheap Asian labor with US fully automated factories.

And that's a good thing!

Lmao so they're basically a government contractor now

socketed memory is hitting the wall of physics anyway. CAMM is cope. Going forward memory will be on the CPU die and not upgradable.

openai is ran by frankist accelerationists who want to sacrifice the jews in order to force god's intervention and bring about the messianic age. they were responsible for the holocaust, the ritual sacrifice of jews (holocaust meaning "burnt offerings" akin to ancient caananite child sacrifices) however the messiah failed to manifest, meaning six million clearly werent enough. their current plan is to concentrate all jews in the promised land (israel) and then mass sacrifice them in one giant ritual holocaust (likely via nuclear war) which will usher the messianic age and bring about the end times. i recommend reading david icke for more information if you wish to understand the extradimensional reptilian nature of these frankists

>>107543398
funny thing about that. the recent US military deal is using googles stuff and not theirs. thats how bad its going.
>>

What I don't understand is how is AI causing DDR5 memory shortage?
Isn't AI built on GPUs? What does it have anything to do with dimm memory?
>>
>>107540484
There is no shortage, it's scalpers buying and reselling
>>
>>107543460
It's more about production capacity. Samsung and Hynux closed contracts that give preferential treatment to corporate clients so they use most of their production capacity to put out memory for GPUs or special datacenter systems.
>>
>>107543557
I know the raw materials are the same but I thought the equipments at least would be highly specialized.
Is it really that easy to retool from normal DDR memory to GPU memory?
>>
>>107543460
Compute clusters still need RAM, shitloads of it in fact, on the order of terabytes for processing and caching of data. Manufacturers have pivoted towards supplying enterprise customers who show up with mile long orders for server-grade DDR and HBM VRAM for their AI chips. And I don't think Samsung or Hynix or any of them want to risk increasing production either in case the demand dries up by the time new manufacturing capacity is ready, so we're stuck with not enough supply and too much demand.
