You'd still get most usage out of changing your scheduler, maybe with tasker when you're away from home which is what I do and I charge my pixel 6 pro (which becomes red hot at the lightest load) only every other day.

Look at the battery usage screen and which apps are eating your battery, go to their settings page and disable background usage, this is 80% effect for 20% effort with android battery manageAlso use android profiles, they're buried deep in android settings but it's a way to automatically set-up your phone when you're at a location and outside of it, set up things like screen brightness which can also make a lot of diffrence if you can stand a kinda dim screen
