DuckDuckGo uses "anonymous" analytics which is hosted and collected by a Microsoft server at improving.duckduckgo.com. If you block the analytics, it blocks you out of DuckDuckGo and its services entirely. Extremely fishy considering it wouldnt break functionality and duckduckgo is a wrapper for Bing. What they collect isnt needed for security. Also since its a wrapper for Bing Microsoft pretty easily knows its you anyways by glancing at your search patterns, what you are looking at and comparing it to the shit ton of data they have of you thanks to Google, Amazon, etc who give eachother everyones data.

Also theres a lot of other fishy shit with microsoft going on. This whole engine glows
