I was doing some research and diagnostics on a semi-obscure piece of hardware and Google kept omitting results that Yandex discovered fine. I spent 2 hours fucking around in useless Google results, then tried Yandex, and then I solved my problem in 30 minutes. I was pissed. I'm now considering using Yandex as my only search engine now, it's just slow as fuck because of the extra hops to Russia.The issue is that Google prioritises shopping and product pages over discussion forums, whereas Yandex doesn't have that bias.
