What would you do in this situation, Anon?

Kill myself because I'm Jewish.

My response would be muted because I already have 5 Echoes in my house.
>>
>>107557952
That's not BASED
>>
>>107557928
Turn around and sell it on ebay. Buy something that's actually good like a new flashcart or two.

>I have 5 Echoes in my house
Call that shit a cave!

These things have essentially no resale value so the best move is to hack the shit out of it in whatever way is possible. It is, ultimately, a computer device with a screen, mic, and speakers. I'm sure it can do something useful.

I use my Google Home to turn lights on and off when I go to bed, play the sound of thunderstorms for muh sleep, and set me an alarm. That's about it.
>>
Man why do these things all suck? Chat GPT, Gemini, Claud, ext are all decent to talk to, but shit like Siri, OK Google, and Alexa all suck compared to that. Why don't they just hook up a decent half AI? Siri has sucked for decades.
>>
>>107557928
My brother's house is fully alexafied and I don't know how I can tell him it's weird without sounding like a crazy person.

Sorry anon, shooter was stopped by another muslim. That cancels it out and the whole event has been memory holed.

Nobody has any interest in hacking these things anymore. Even the fire tablets are completely dead.
>>
>>107560930
I just looked and it appears that the latest versions haven't been cracked. Older ones can have Lineage OS installed on them, making them useful.

Truth is that anyone buying you gifts who actually knows you should know better than to give you some Amazon slop. If you get it at a work function or something of that nature you can just flip it on ebay for nickels and buy an SD card or something with the proceeds.

No they're all cucked to the point of having no personality, but good for some tasks yes.
>Siri, OK Google, and Alexa all suck compared to that. Why don't they just hook up a decent half AI? Siri has sucked for decades.
They have. Google hooked up gemeni to the google voice assistant, and it's worse than you can imagine. Try enabling it if you dare.
If you do, it can answer at GPT3.5 level BUT you can no longer do things like play music, turn on bluetooth, set a timer etc. It will till you how to do it instead. Completely broken, and cannot be undone sometimes.

Apple did the more sensible option where you can "forward" your question to GPT.

Voice assistants are OK for these basic tasks, adding LLMs to them add nearling nothing other than a hands free way to ask stupid shit.

Lock it up in a soundproof box with a RasPi running a local LLM and a TTS model constantly tormenting it with insults and unreasonable requests.
>>
>>107561107
This is the most compelling answer. /thread

My parents' home is Alexa-fied and I hate it. It makes me feel like a slave driver, asking requests of the robot for basic things like setting timers and reminders.

Good idea but dont forget faraday cage (most important) and isolated VLAN. Dont become a statistic in their mesh network and dont let it track you moving around your home from the wifi disturbances.
>>
>>107561091
Gemini literally can't interface with my Google Home. It won't turn off lights, play music, or do shit. I have to actually ask the Google Home display because my phone defaults to Gemini now

I said kms not kill other jews.
