You would much rather have a guy who has been programming for 20 years and can now use AI to ship things faster than an Indian who is probably less competent than the LLM itself. It's possible that in the future we'll all be so dumb and incompetent compared to AI that it won't really matter who's using it (in which case it's unclear why anyone would be valuable as an employee), but that's not the situation right now.
