from what i remember done of the newer versions have terrible performance in videogames and for some systems when fullscreening a program the computer black screens

I never experience black screens since I turned on gpu scaling. driver doesn't matter. it's faster than monitor scaling so there's no reason to leave it off.

When I had blackscreen issues I tried older and newer versions than this one.
They problem was ultimately caused by a molten 12VHPWR in my case though.

Is that the one from december of last year? Cause that's the one I'm still on after four attempts from nvidia post 5XXX release still hadn't resolved the inability to wake my monitors from sleep on a 4090
