Is the reply window for the tomorrow theme messed up for anyone else? The entire captcha section is white instead of black like it normally is. It still works normally and all the other themes seem to be normal.
This idea was inspired by SolidWorks' radial mouse-gesture shortcut menu.Has anyone implemented this for Openbox?It looks easier to implement than a radial mouse-gesture shortcut menu, given that those are just lists, but the most I've programmed was is AutoHotkey, Chez Scheme, and BASIC (embedded).
How to auto adjust time for single word captions if input is normal srt subtitles?
>>107567816Explain.
>>107567816You can't synchronise when there are no timecodes and I've never seen srt captions having indices for every single wordI guess some sort of speech recognition caption generator would be your best bet here.

How long after a discord perma ban can i start joining servers? Ive basically only been chatting to one person for the past 6 months
Is there a way to use discord without having to create an account and verify?That platform's security fucking sucks and I hate using it but annoyingly there's files I need to download that are only hosted there
>>107568752Use a throwaway email. Those work
>>107568752I think it used to be harder but nowadays I can generally just click on an invite link, enter a keyboard smash name and not even properly register as such. Apparently it's called an "unclaimed account" and there's a banner at the top telling me to claim it, but it works for browsing through channels, and probably downloading anything you need.That said it's likely also adjustable through "server" settings so some invites might not allow you in without a real account, I dunno.
What's with the new captcha? It looks way simpler and easier. Usually they change it to throw off existing pretrained captcha solvers and sometimes to try to make it harder to OCR, but the new version now looks absolutely trivial to OCR and removes ALL the noise so what's the point

Is it just me or is KurobaEx borken again on captcha? (Verification not required.)
>>107569147Works on my machine.
>>107567989Why don't you use cmake? It looks like SDL_mixer uses that and Visual Studio has cmake support built in (replacing vxprojs)
>>107569147yes the captcha has been updated once again breaking kuroba
I have encrypted an ssd with veracrypt and so far so good. I wanted to encrypt my windows OS and more stuff, is there anything I need to know?I don't want data to be corrupted or windows doing windows things.Disconnecting drives and connecting them to another socket, changing system, etc do corrupt or harm the data?
>>107569244Prints some strange error on Visual Studio that I have no idea how to parse. I'm going to try using Visual Studio Code to read the CMake files next.There has to be an easy way to get this to run, I managed to get it on the browser with 0 effort.

I have a 2U cooler with a 70mm fan bolted on (the maximum size the cooler can support) in a "push" configuration. If I replace the 70mm fan with a 70->120mm adapter and 120mm fan in a "pull" configuration, am I going to get better cooling performance?
>>107567190I literally cannot post with the new captcha at all. Thank god I keep threads open 24/7.
>>107569843I tried phoneposting and it doesn't work either and I get an error, I am tech illiterate but maybe it has something to do with the APIon my pc it works just fine
>>107568764Except that they ask to verify by phone now and no fucking way am I giving those assholes my number>>107569035So if a server doesn't allow 'unclaimed accounts' then there's no alternatives?
>>107569946They also don't always ask for a phone number.You can also try to find any email address associated with the project and ask for the files there. Say that discord is non-free software and link them a stallman.org page or something.
Now that the dust of the original adpocalypse has settled, can someone make this make sense to me? Is it a matter of corpo advertisers simply not wanting to actually financially support non-kosher material, rather than those retarded tech-illiterate journos smearing said advertisers over just *appearing* to endorse said material?
>>107569501I downloaded SDL2-devel-2.0.20-VC.zip and put it in a folder and then had my Visual Studio project look for the include and libraries files there.I'm looking up how to install SDL and other than setting the environment variables, it doesn't look much different. I added it to the environment variables but I still get the same error. Google doesn't give me a straight answer on how to "install" SDL either.Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Not a question but I am just angry. New CPUs apparently don't support real sleep anymore, they just go into "low power idle". Well the battery lasts for like 20+ hours that way so it's not the end of the world practically speaking for me, but the thing is since it doesn't shut down most components anymore, the fan keeps spinning even after the laptop is in "sleep mode" with the lid closed.So then I regularly pick up the laptop after closing the lid while the fan is still spinning, swinging it around by holding it vertically to carry it for example. And now after barely a year and a half the fan is rattling.
In ffprobe, can you tell it to not print out unnecessary zeroes?For example instead of this output:pts_time=0.555000I want this output:pts_time=0.555
pts_time=0.555000
pts_time=0.555

These new Captcha's are ass>>107570352Clicking the "Original Form" at the top of the page sometimes breaks too. Think it's just a "4chan is shit now" thing.
>>107570942What odd is it randomly works in some threads but not others.

>>107569058dunno man. the next button on the top is ux nightmare. users look at things from top to bottom so once you reach the slider and finish with the puzzle at the current page of the captcha the hand goes to submit but there are two more pages.it'd be way better if the next button was on the bottom

I need an external hard drive or two for storage and backups, whats the best i can get for price given the smr scamming? https://desuarchive.org/g/thread/106459760 i already have one of these but i think its broken, it projects to take forever to write and always errors out when im writing. so i gave up on iti'm an amateur photographer, i just want to mass store and backup hundreds of gb of pictures, add more as i take them, and sort through them later. I had my camera stolen recently and lost my pictures on the card cuz i didnt have space for them in one place. is there a better/cheaper way than hdd?how bad is it to use ssd for backups?
>>107571880no you don't you need whatever HDD and an adapter. or pray overprice for marginal 'convenience' like an appletard

Is anyone having the same glitch with the new captcha on Firefox? At first, I thought it was a 4chan XT issue, but it kept happening.Essentially whenever it says that there's no need to verify, it says "not valid captcha" without allowing you to click next, scroll the captcha or retry.So, I decided to log out and retry but now it says "Please make sure scripts and cookies aren't blocked before continuing" without allowing to send an email, this is despite cookies being allowed and not having Violent Monkey active. I noticed that it's still able to send an email if you do the captcha quick enough, but the verify link says "link invalid" anyway resulting in another roadblock. I'm currently using Edge to post but I'd much rather use Firefox since it's my preferred browser and I like using addons. Does anyone know how to fix both the email verify issue and the captcha issue? Are both the result of cloudfare being a bitch?
