I jumped on the couch, and I didn't realize my laptop was under a blanket.
How can I fix it?

Just tell it to pick itself up by the bootstraps and walk into the electronics store and give the manager a firm handshake.

>How can I fix it?
You turn it upside down and with the same exact force you jump on it again
>>
>>107571669
its easy, just replace the screen, motherboard, CPU, RAM, hard drive, keyboard and palmrest
>>
>>107571669
bondo and a dremel
>>
>>107571669
Heat it up with a torch and hit it with a hammer.
>>

That's my laptop and my car was involved
I'm glad it became a meme
>>
>>107571669
you need to buy a new one, I think those are $150-250 used
careful the battery may explode on the old one if it's damaged
>>
>>107571669
>Disassemble entirely
>Throw out screen and order a new one, there's no saving that one
>Beat case with a hammer until it recovers its shape
>Probe around with a multimeter's continuity mode and repair traces with really thin wire by soldering to common points
>Buy replacements for any chips that cracked (Skip if you lucked into breaking none) and solder them in
>Reassemble your new screen and fixed board into your hammered case

if an ergonomic laptop was a thing it would look like that by design.
>>
>>107571669
I think you have bigger problems than your laptop if you did this much damage, and I mean that literally.
>>
>>107571669
You're lucky the battery didn't catch fire.
>>
>>107572490

>>

I was wondering what happened because I've seen an EliteBook get run over and survive, they're fucking tanks.
I've had 3 back in the day, they survived being knocked off the desk by my cat, one time my grandma sat on mine when she got in the car etc.
>>
>>107571669
Why would you fix it?
You got a free ergonomic keyboard out of it.
>>
>>107571717
That's what I'd do, just move backwards through your steps and undo the problem.
