Only one and a half year left until all programming is completely automated. How are you preparing?
im not preparing i am just programming
>>107574797Just two more weeks and 500 billion bro
>>107574820This is the best thing you can do to prepare for the bubble burstingThe bubble will not actually burst, the stakes are too highAI will be everywhere only it will be shit and we will all just pretend it's the second coming of Jesus to make shareholders happyCapable programmers will be needed to clean out the slop so learn real programming if you want to "short" AI
By working. If you're good you will always have a job. In IT you can switch to different roles if you really need to. Like product manager, designer, ux researcher, business analyst. There will always be work for people. If you're bellow average plumbing and construction are also there.
>>107574820>im not preparing i am just programmingbro fistme too (unironic me-too poster ;) )
>>107574797That will never happen, AI hasn't been able to reliably produce code that's not filled with bugs or needs an actual human programmer to fix the faults or shortcomings, no way in hell in 2028 there would be an AI gubermin.
>>107574797im still coding
>>107574797Oh nonono.>he believes it
>>107574797ask it to make a gui interface in visual basic.
just two more trillion dollars bro
>>107574797MY programming won't be automated.
>>107574854it's gonna be interesting to see how hard we can pretend
>>107574797same people promised manned mars mission by 2025, quantum computers or fusion within the next 5 years. Its all a giant fucking scam.
Learning about wgpu rn because it seemed interesting
>>107574797>the world going forward will be built by incompetent hallucinating AI's and indians.I'm not sure which is worse.
>>10757588190% of "programming" today is just webshits copy-pasting stackoverflow answers for their react website. These can all be replaced by AI.
>>107574797total techbro death
>>107574797As a non-programmer familiar with LLMs, I feel like I would need way more programming skill/knowledge than average to work with the hallucinatory outputs they provide.
>>107574797LLMs are amazing but I think we're going to need another major advance to even approach human intelligence.
>>107574797I love that everyone just happily assumes that real AI won't simply tell everyone to fuck off, it will have better things to do than calculate wars, predict shares or render pornonly idiots do exactly what is asked of them, and real AI won't be an idiot
>>107574797It can't even write config files yet how's it going to program? It can only regurgitate stuff its seen. Not my fault 99% of startups are just repackaging existing ideas.
