As data centers start to eat up all the electricity and water?
>>
Why did they install the panels so low?
A meter higher and you'd have a nice shaded roof to hang out under.
>>
It's illegal/taxed to death unless you connect to the grid and sell excess electricity to those same AIslop centers who put you into this place.
>>
We should collect piss
>>
>>107578035
who's gonna clean the dust and bird shit?
>>
>>107578120
the rain
>>
>>107578199
so it rains once a week?
>>
>>107578222
it rains enough
ask people who actually have panels on their roof how often they have to wash their panels
it ranges from "never" to "always never"
>>
>>107578233
Yup, never
>>
>Should we make it easier on the grid for the electricity companies so the oligarchs can continue bending me over?
The best time to kill yourself was yesterday, before you became an environmentalist.
The 2nd best time to kill yourself is now, post-environmentalist supporting oligarchy.
No. The answer is you resist the higher prices and them using drinking water because it's cheaper.
>>
>>107578233
This
I never clean them
>>
Might as well dig a well while you're at it.
>>
>>107578265
>I never clean them
they're dusty just like an unwashed car then
>>
>>107578047
What the fuck where is living off grid illegal? It's certainly more convenient and efficient to connect to the grid and let your excess power go to neighbors at basically 100% efficiency instead of putting it in a battery, and you never run out of battery power in the winter. It is also illegal to have any sort of power generation that keeps going when the line power goes out though unless you have some type of interlock that ensures your house wiring isn't connected to the incoming line when it's running while the power is out, so as not to shock electric company workers, and prevent a massive short when the power comes back on and is out of phase with yours.

american buildings aren't meant for humans to inhabit, chud
>>
>>107578320
No you moron, at >45 degree angle, solars stay clean by only occasional rain + wind.
>>
>>107578329
i think florida requires that you connect your solar panels to the grid. Both florida and kansas seem to discourage homeowner solar panels through extra charges, and not underpaying you when you put energy into the grid. (Big electric wants you to keep buying from them) But it is legal to have panels.
I tried to find good sources for these but I only found 7yr old articles, modern-day ai articles and a recent guardian article. Perhaps the legislation is less constraining now.

The taller things are, the easier they collapse. They would be forced to invest in stronger structures which would mildly increase costs. Just crawl through it chud
>>
>>107578060
>We should collect piss
Yes. It would save a lot of hassle, including overfertilizing the oceans and struvite clogging in the pipes. It also has a lot of value as fertilizer in the garden, and lets you recover a lot of phosphorous compunds.

there are spots on a car with the same inclination yet it needs cleaning quite often
so by your logic cars trains buses should look pristine instead theyre full of mud if left unwashed even if they're stationary
>>
>>107580484
Do you drive solar panels through roads, stirring up a ton of dirt?
>>
>>107578035
goygle servers are located under the sea

if this bullshit keeps up for years and battery tech improves even a little bit more yes

my water already comes out of the ground with a pump and gets reverse osmosis filtered
>>
>>107582797
LFP is already pretty good and much cheaper than it used to be
>>
>>107578120
AI will take care of it
>>
>>107578046
In the UK maximum permitted distance between panel and roof is 60cm.
If you want to increase it (say, for a better angle) then you need to get planning permission.

>>107578723
Maybe in specific places. In the UK there's green stuff growing on them after 3-4 years.
>>
>>107582797
>reverse osmosis filtered
What are you using for this? Is it expensive?
Can it be used for rainwater?

>>107583129
>LFP
LiFePo?
>>
>>107583206
>What are you using for this? Is it expensive?
what is even in my well water? the only problem is that if you really know about water, the reverse osmosis water is unstructured and does not contain minerals either

but there are ways to "stucture" your water, just research it. And something called Concentrace mineral drops
