Are there any web browsers left without AI bullshit built in?
>>
>>107584104
Shitty forks.
All the mainstream browsers are all in.
>>
>>107584104
safari
>>
>>107584104
Nope. I use a fork and it tries to disable that stuff.
Not because I hate AI, I just like it's UI.
Waterfox, they are disabling that stuff.
>They
Well it's one guy in the UK.

Opera 12 Presto.
>>
>>107584268
Why the fuck did they never open-source Presto? I remember Opera 12 on Windows 98 still worked fairly well on a lot of sites back in 2016, much better than Firefox 2.

Because they were still licensing it out to other companies after they stopped using it for the browser. Now it's owned by chinks and they won't give away anything for free. The entire source code was already leaked online, but they went after that with takedown notices. Corporations don't give a shit about making the world a better place. It's an asset that they could maybe somehow make money from some day, so you can go fuck yourself.

You can't legally use it for anything

And who's gonna stop me?
>>
>>107584104
I've never noticed it in Brave. It might have popped up before and I clicked no and it stopped bugging me, but I don't recall.

Try releasing your updated version publicly and see how long it takes to get a cease and desist

Oh shit, Waterfox still exists? I remember using it like 10 years ago. Can you recommend it nowadays?

Just works, it's a modern Firefox fork with better looking tabs and no AI. If you don't like the look you can always change it in the settings.

Google requires javascript to search now so plenty of "small" browsers like Netsurf, Lynx and Dillo have become effectively useless, plus "anti-bot" tech filters them out.

Even "simple-looking" sites like Discourse and Wikipedia has huge amounts of CSS and Javascript in the background further degrading the experience.

As far as I am concerned the internet is now fully Chromium only. Webkit is just Chromium with Apple cherry pickings and Firefox imploded with the new CEO. Ladybird will have to fight to get whitelisted by anti bot tech if it is to ever succeed.
>>
>>107585308
maybe the chinese use a non chromium browser
>>
>>107584696
Proves my point, you can make a private fork just fine but you legally cannot post it publicly anywhere.

I don't think that's gonna be an issue
