uBO just works.
Revanced just works on Android.
Brave just works too and is a good option for those too stupid to install extensions. Also viable on iPhone where there isn't Revanced or browsers that can load uBO.

Adblocking still werks on my machine, but I've also been downloading all the old podcasts and radio show bits I primarily use youtube for to ween myself from the platform. Moments like these are a good opportunity to consider whether youtube is worth using

A lot of people are incapable of imagining that anything could be different outside their experience

Google anti adblock measures have doing partial rollouts for awhile now. Like Google will do some anti adblock rollout that will only target a few users then Google goes quiet and does more testing before another partial rollout

But average "power user" that knows how to click thing will constantly remind you that it works him

Just stop using Youtube altogether. There is absolutely nothing worth wasting time on.
