and I'm only at 5.6 gigs of 13.6 Gigs of RAM I have. While Windows 11 uses 3-6 gigs at idle sometimes. If I was still using nomacs, vlc and firefox like I did from 2020-2024 it would be much hugher. Though I do use firefox some places. Suckless tools made me get the most out of my RAM so when the few extremely heavy GEGL plugins of mine are in use (gegl:GoldText 2, gegl:AnisoPatch, gegl:BloodyIce) they won't slow my OS down to a crawl. Anyone who doesn't optimize RAM is a dumbass.

Who else DDR3 here? kek, you know your rig is ancient when even 10 years ago you were already worried about it being severely overdue for an upgrade. Only issue is that it's powerful enough for 99% of the things I do, including vidya after I tossed in a 5700XT a couple of years ago.

I bought a Lenovo P360 Ultra off ebay a year ago for work stuff, the listing showed it equipped with 32gb which was already more than I need, but then it showed up with 2x32gb and apparently a little dust in one slot
