>makes every other web browser obsolete
>>107589022>cant open ftptrash
>>107589022How is this different from the other thousand open source data scrapers out there? Built in ad blockers is a huge red flag unless it's literally uBlock origin.Hard pass.
>>107589034It's a web browser not an FTP client. Install FileZilla, it's free.
chromium fork
I like the flag>helium://flags/#helium-cat-uiAnyway, if Uwukko is reading this, he should add:>more new tab customize options>hide bookmarks bar even in newtab>option to delete history on browser exit>option to add titlebar to browserOther than that, pretty solid project.
>>107589022Is it chromium based?
what's a !bang
>>107589729Just looking at the top-right of the UI in that image will tell you that.Yes, it's Chromium based. There's no independent browsers anymore.
>native !bangs
>>107589022>Best privacy and unbiased>ad-blocking by default>No adware, no bloat, no noise>Made for people , by people
>>107589080>FileZillaLiterally malware. You mean WinSCP?
>>107589767Whatever FTP client you want. Just don't use a web browser.
>new browser>look inside>chromium
>>107589771It's all so tiring.
>>107589770>>107589080>stop mentioning a feature that got removed for no reasonno.
>>107589780When was the last time you visited a website over FTP?We have this thing called HTTP now. Use it.
>>107589022Buy an ad
I donated Helium 20€
>>107589022>chromiumNo, thanks.
What about Waterfox?
>>107589784>HTTPironically this is also blocked lol you need https onlyfag.
>>107591443> https://www.pcmag.com/news/mozillas-new-ceo-its-time-to-evolve-firefox-into-an-ai-browserFirefox is dead, fucking retard.
>>107589022>no mention of refusal to ever put "AI features" in ithard pass will eventually end up like shartfox
That's not Vivaldi
>>107591885I am waiting for Ladybird. Until then Firefox is my browser.
Been using it for a week. Split views nice, does okay on privacy tests, not amazing but good for a chrome based browser.cat mode for the UI is nice, and I like the built in split view and whatnot. I don't use the bangs though, never bothered with those in the first place.
>>107591947split view is a native chromium feature, nothing "new".
>>107592067>nothing 'new'you don't know what "new" means.
>>107592067I wouldn't know. I haven't used anything chromium based in at least a decade, just abandoning ship with ff/mozilla, can't be bothered to give a shit anymore with their AI shift now.
>>107589784>When was the last time you visited a website over FTP?ok so you don't even know what FTP is for, great
>>107589022Isn't that made by the same guy who made cobalt tools?
>>107592228Yeah, another good reason to ignore this project. Thanks for bringing this to light.https://github.com/wukko
>>107592228Yeah im sticking to brave
>>107592228Looks like I'm switching to Brave, thanks.
>>107589784The overhead of downloading a file via HTTP instead of FTP used to be nothing to sneeze at.These days people have stopped to care, though. The lines have gotten too fast for it to matter anymore.
>>107592228Brave's CEO is anti faggotry? Based. I like this browser more now.
>>107592228this is very unsettling. thanks sis!
>>107592228Can I get a tl;dr on cobalt tools? I remember not being impressed by it when I checked it out, but it didn't seem that atrocious.
>>107589080Web browsers are HTTP and FTP clients.
>>107589022>advertising kagiwtf?
>>107589022>another chromium browsershitsux
>>107592354in fact that was the reason he got kicked out of firefox
>>107591885They said they will still remain customizable. They want a product that the masses will like out of the box but they are not dropping the customization. We keep having the same reactions to whatever Mozilla does like Pocket and stuff. They keep leaving in the customization.Just use Firefox. If something gives you the big mad bring it up in /g and someone can make you a userscript or something.
>>107592354no, he's not.he donated to some fast food restaurant that fags say is homophobic because it was founded by someone who said he doesn't want to have gay sex.it's the dumbest nonsense ever./pol/tards, usually a jew or jeet, shill brave.
>>107593908Brendan Eich controversyprimarily centers on his forced resignation as Mozilla CEO in 2014 due to a $1,000 donation to California's anti-same-sex marriage Proposition 8 in 2008, sparking backlash from employees and activists; he later faced criticism again for questioning COVID-19 pandemic policies while CEO of Brave, his privacy-focused browser company, reigniting debates over corporate leadership, free speech, and LGBTQ+ rights
I think I'll stick with Chrome or Edge
>>107589022>two catalog threads for this shitbuy a fucking ad or at least make an argument. you didn't even fucking link the site to make it easy.
>>107589022who's behind that browser.
>>107592228>Brendan (((Eich)))oy vey
MV browser will do me. Dont need anything else
>>107589022Ok I'll bite, what makes this instance of chromium so special?
>>107594408It comes with ublock origin pre-installed and the usual ungoogled chromium privacy things
>>107594426it's not ublock origin.
I'm sticking to Yandex.
>>107589733it's a shebang that transitioned
